A feel good story this week comes to us from Henrico County, Virginia USA where a cat missing for 9 years has finally returned home. For years, Piper’s mother searched for her distinctive white-gloved fur baby with no luck.
Finally, the county animal protection unit received a call from a concerned citizen about a stray cat that wouldn’t leave their porch. After taking the cat to the shelter, the animal control officers found that she had a microchip and began an investigation. Eventually, Piper’s mother was called, and the pair was reunited after Piper being missing for 9 years.
