One of the most common reasons for diarrhea in dogs is from them eating something they shouldn’t. Other reasons can be food allergies, parasites or infections. Obviously, some of these issues need to be dealt with at a vet visit. However, you can try making your dog fast for 12-24 hours if they’re healthy. If they’re not, or if they’re a puppy or a senior dog, some home remedies might be helpful and include:
1.) Pureed pumpkin or pumpkin powder.
2.) Plain white rice
3.) Boiled chicken.
4.) Yogurt with probiotics.
5.) Potatoes that have been peeled, boiled, mashed and cooled.
